Last week students across the district took part in Walk &Roll to School Day. Over 100 participates enjoyed fresh air as they arrived and left school, working to build healthy habits. Many local businesses offered rewards for students who participated. #SLEagles

Today we had the honor of hosting a meeting for the Kansas Association of School Board's Business Operations Leadership Development (BOLD) program for 1A-6A districts.
We were excited to show off our school system and discuss the progress we have made over the last 3 years.

This post will share all the things you need to know about the week ahead. Have a specific question – ask in the comments of this post and we will get you the answer. This year’s theme is Once Upon a Homecoming.

Each day high school and junior high students will have themed dress up days. Check out at the graphic below for all the details 👇
Friday will be the main homecoming activities. All district students will be dismissed at noon. Please parents, do NOT call your child out of school early on Friday, there is already a lot going on and it will hinder the processes in place to help everything move smoothly. There is no preschool on Friday!
Friday’s schedule:
12 pm – Districtwide Dismissal
1 pm – Homecoming Parade Line-Up
Line-up will begin starting to the South of the Masche/Potawatomie intersection facing North and if needed along Lake Street. It is first come, first serve. Please leave the first block by Schwarz’s and Hwy 24 open for school personnel. Please do not park on the side streets, Theresa or Potawatomie, to aid traffic flow for the front of the parade.
1:45 pm – Homecoming Parade to begin. See route map attached to this post.
District pep rally will take place at the football stadium immediately following the
completion of the parade.
6:30 pm – Homecoming Ceremony
7 pm – Homecoming Football Game
We will recognize state champion teams celebrating milestone anniversaries during
half-time of the game. See attached graphic for all the teams that will be recognized.
Saturday at 8 pm we will host the annual homecoming dance for our high school students.
