After evaluating the conditions, the plan is to return to school tomorrow. The most significant concern is the frigid temperatures in the morning. Therefore, we will use our one-hour late start schedule. This change means the school doors will open at 8:30 instead of 7:30 tomorrow morning. There may be icy spots on the roads and trouble spots around the district, so please, if you feel the conditions are too dangerous for your child to attend school, you are welcome to keep them home. We ask that you notify the buildings as you typically would. ADDITIONAL SCHEDULE CHANGE: The LATE START DAY scheduled for next Wednesday, February 26th, has been changed to a full school day.

After driving roads around the district, the decision has been made to close for one more day with the hopes road crews have a little extra time to address the streets. We are hopeful to see you all on Thursday! #SLEagles

The lady eagles take first 🥇 with both Ella Bolan and Kailyn Hanni being named to the first team all tournament. In addition, Kailyn was named girls most outstanding player of the tournament! 🎉🎉Congratulations to senior, Tessa Gerber, on being named to the 3A Academic All State Cross Country Team. Tessa maintains a 4.0 GPA and placed 30th in this year's 3A State Cross Country meet. The award is presented by the Kansas Cross Country and Track and Field Coaches Association and sponsored by the Kansas Association of American Educators. In order to qualify for the award the student athlete must have a unweighted GPA above 3.75, have placed in the top 30 at this year's state cross country meet, and be nominated by their high school coach. Way to go, Tessa 👟 #SLEagles
