Student journalists qualify to state

(Tuesday, March 10, 2015)

Even though high school journalists competed at regional journalism on Friday, Feb. 27, the results did not become available until today.

Silver Lake competed against 27 other 3A/4A schools at the Lawrence regional. There were potentially up to 56 entries per category.

Congratulations to the following students who qualified to state journalism on Saturday, May 2, at the University of Kansas. High school videographers only compete at the state level. (A complete article will appear in the March 31 edition of "The Eagle Times" online newspaper.)
